Detta hjälper till att undvika bluffmakare och falska CV:er, vilket kan vara en förlust för företaget. Minska risken för rättsliga konsekvenser Genom att utföra bakgrundskontroller kan arbetsgivaren minska risken för rättsliga konsekvenser. Till exempel kan det hjälpa till att undvika att anställa personer med en brottslig bakgrund för vissa jobb eller att anställa personer som har varit inblandade i trakasserier eller diskriminering på tidigare arbetsplatser.  Skapa en säker arbetsmiljö Att anställa personer utan korrekta bakgrundskontroller kan öka risken för säkerhetsproblem på arbetsplatsen. Öka chansen att anställa rätt person Genom att utföra bakgrundskontroller kan arbetsgivaren få en bättre uppfattning om kandidaten och deras lämplighet för jobbet. Det kan ge arbetsgivaren viktig information om kandidatens karaktär och egenskaper som kan hjälpa till att fatta rätt beslut om vem som ska anställas.
